EOP First Contact Webinar

The recorded First Contact webinars for Freshmen and Transfers are located at the bottom of the page. This will serve as fulfilling the EOP First Contact requirement. Please read about system requirements and the setup wizard before trying to login.

The Wimba Classroom software will be used for the EOP First Contact Webinar. Below, you'll find the supported Operating Systems, supported Internet Browsers, and recommended system specifications for using the Wimba Classroom.

Setup Wizard

Run the Wimba Wizard located at the link below. This will check to make sure your computer is setup and ready to use Wimba Classroom. We will not support students using microphones, so please skip the recording section in the Wimba Wizard.

It has come to our attention Wimba Classroom doesn’t always work with a “Realtek” sound card. If you get the error message, “Error 290 Fatal Audio Library Error”, your sound card may be incompatible with Wimba Classroom. A work around for this is to use a speaker or headphone that uses an USB input. If you use a speaker or headphone that plugs into the headphone jack, you’ll still be using the sound card and will still get the error. Using the USB speaker or headphone will bypass the soundcard.

Wimba Classroom works best with a dedicated network line. A weak signal to the Wimba Classroom may occur if using WiFi.

First Contact Webinar Login

Use the link below to log into the Wimba Classroom. Type in your first name, last name and the last four digits of your Red ID in the Participant Login field. This will be used to mark you off as attending the EOP First Contact session.
