WPA Workshop
WPA Workshop Series
The EOP/CAAT Tutoring Center is beginning its WPA workshops series this month! Each workshop series will consist of the following:
- Prep Workshop: Students will receive a general review on the WPA and basic writing guidelines.
- Mock WPA Exam: Students will be given the same WPA prompt and will be asked to write a practice essay
- Mock WPA Exam review with EOP/CAAT Tutor. Students will have 2 weeks to schedule an appointment and review their practice essay with one of our tutors. These appointments are made on Tutor Trac. Under the course list, select “WPA”. The names of the WPA tutors and their availability times will appear for you to choose an appointment time.
Below is the schedule of each of our workshop series. We ask students to sign up at the CAAT/EOP front desk for the Workshop Series they plan to attend. If you have any questions please come by the CAAT/EOP Tutoring Center or contact Velma Calvario, she will be conducting these workshops, at vcalvario@aol.com.
1st WPA Workshop Series: (this is recommended to students who plan on taking the WPA October 10th or October 24th)

- Time: 9am-11:30am

- 2 Week Review with Writing Tutors:
- Dates: Monday through Thursday, September 20 to October 1 and October 6 to October 8
- Time: by appointment
- Location: CAAT Tutoring Center
2nd WPA Workshop Series (this is recommended to students who plan on taking the WPA November 14th and November 15th)
