EOP Learning Communities
An EOP Learning Community is a small group of freshman students and faculty who all work and learn together in a community atmosphere. Students are placed in the appropriate SDSU courses, based on their scores on the English Placement Test (EPT).

As a member of a learning community, students are registered in a general education course, an EOP freshmen seminar, a group tutorial, and Rhetoric and Writing 92A. Additional Courses can be added.
Students in learning communities receive special attention and educational support that can make all the difference in their success at San Diego State University.
The Benefits of Being in an EOP Learning Community:
If your test scores and admission status qualify you for a learning community, you will be notified.
