EOP’s Recruitment and Outreach team strives to provide the highest level of service to ensure students are well-informed of EOP admissions, benefits, and services. To fulfill this commitment to service, our team attends college fairs and offers EOP presentations to schools across California as well as campus tours to selected students as part of our early outreach efforts.

Our Early Outreach efforts aim to “Plant the Seed” with students at the elementary and middle school grade levels. We invite elementary, middle school, and community organizations’ students to see and experience SDSU by taking a campus tour. Visiting a college campus can be one of the first steps for a young student on their path to higher education.
If you have a high school class and would like a campus tour, please contact the Prospective Student Center.
An EOP Campus Tour is a one hour walking tour that encompasses the main part of the campus including narration on daily student activities, student services offered by departments and programs, and history and traditions of the University.
EOP Campus Tours are available every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. All requests are reviewed before a confirmation is given. The tours must be requested at least 3 weeks in advance and are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. The request must be on official school or organization letterhead and contain the following information:
Due to semester finals, we will limit tours after November 30th in the Fall and May 1st in the Spring, and may not be able to accommodate as many students as listed above.
All requests must be faxed (619) 594 – 4299 or e-mailed to Bryan Spencer, Recruitment & Outreach Coordinator.
Tours are conducted by the EOP staff, student Recruitment Assistants, and other current SDSU students. The current student staff welcomes the opportunity to share their university experience with prospective students and their guests.
Schools and/or organizations that are interested in having EOP representatives give a classroom presentation or participate in a community event must submit a request on official letterhead 3 weeks or 15 working days in advance. Requests can either be sent by fax to (619) 594-4299 or by U.S. mail to the address below:
